Robot T9: The Future Server at Premier Pearl Hotel Vung Tau

On the morning of October 14th, Premier Pearl Hotel (69-69A Thùy Vân, Ward 2, Vung Tau City) had its T9 robot fully installed and programmed by DIGICORP technicians, and it has begun serving guests in the breakfast area of the hotel.

With its delivery and serving functions, the T9 robot is used by Premier Pearl Hotel to carry food and drinks, clear dishes in the restaurant, and offer water and cold towels to guests in the lobby.

During its operation, the T9 robot can speak multiple languages depending on the audio recordings made by users. It is equipped with a magnetic sensor system to navigate its path and detect obstacles in front of it. The robot can serve continuously for up to 13 hours without needing a break, with a charging time of about 3 hours.

A representative from Premier Pearl Hotel stated that in late August, the hotel collaborated with the province to promote tourism in South Korea, where they observed the extensive use of service robots in accommodations.

“In South Korea, I learned about the manufacturing company, and upon returning to Vietnam, I immediately placed an order for two units. This is the first one with delivery functions, while the second one, which has more integrated features like using elevators, ringing doorbells for room service, and cleaning rooms, is currently on its way to Vung Tau,” the representative added.

(The T9 robot features a design with four trays, each capable of holding up to 10 kg. It has a total height of 1.3 meters, and its exterior is made of high-quality plastic.)
